- Delaware County, Ohio Goes Live
- As of November 2006, Delaware County Ohio
911 Center, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and the
Powell Ohio Police Department have been successfully transitioned
to the AlertTS entire product suite and are fully operational.
The project scope includes a county-wide Computer Aided Dispatch
(CAD) and law enforcement records management system. The CAD
system will automate law enforcement, fire and emergency medical
dispatching for the cities and townships within the county.
Utilizing the power of RESPONDER™ (CAD),
dispatchers are responding to and managing emergency calls
more efficiently. Leveraging Microsoft Windows® workstations
and MS SQL 2005 database, the configuration provides real-time
data replication between servers housed at the 911 Center
and the Sheriff’s Data Center and will enable consistent
availability of all critical CAD functions and ensure continued
system operations. As networked, the County’s 911 Center
and Sheriff’ Dispatch Center are able to share call
and dispatch data dynamically and each will provide remote
backup capabilities to the other. With the replication process
in place, when a disaster affects one SQL server the system
configuration allows the other SQL server to gain full operations
for both centers with up to the second data.
ENFORCER™ (Law Enforcement Records
Management System) provides a method for agencies County-wide
to enter, access and share law enforcement records data by
utilizing a master and unified database design. The sophisticated
security matrix provides the participating agencies the means
to protect their own data integrity.
