Biographies
- Mark Gruber
- Partner
Mark is responsible for performing needs assessments, overseeing
the product design, direction and marketing. As an IT professional,
Mark has over 23 years of experience, seventeen of which has
been devoted to the public safety industry. Prior to founding
Alert Tracking Systems, Inc., Mark has served as product team
leader for CHIEFS, Inc. (acquired by HTE), was a visionary executive
as founder of InterTech Software, Inc. (acquired by EmergiTech,
Inc.) and as Vice President of Product Development with EmergiTech,
Inc. Mark is a graduate of ITT Technical College with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Computer Science and Business.
- J. Miguel Peña
- Partner
Miguel is responsible for user interface development in addition
to the development of ENFORCER, a law enforcement records management
application, RESPONDER, a computer aided dispatch application,
and the integration of the common features used by all modules.
Miguel is a software developer with over eleven years of design,
developent and implementation experience. Prior to founding
Alert Tracking Systems, Inc., Miguel has served as MIS Director
for Central Florida Home Health Agency, as MIS Director and
programmer for Medical Data Systems, Inc., as an IS Developer
for User Technology Associates and as a IT Developer for Equity
Residential. Miguel holds a Computer Science degree from the
Pennsylvania State University.
- Dick Fletcher
- Partner
Dick is responsible for the development of RESCUE, an EMS records
management application and FIRSTDUE, a Fire records management
application and the integration of the common features used
by those modules. Dick has been a career Firefighter/Paramedic
for 25 years, a volunteer firefighter for 4 years, previous
to that, and a software developer for 13 years. Prior to Dick’s
involvement with Alert Tracking Systems, he also worked part-time
as an EMS instructor at Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio for
10 years and was the Course Director of Upper Valley Medial
Centers EMS Education department in Troy, Ohio for 6 years.
Dick also managed to squeeze in a short 3 year part-time career
as a client trainer for an EMS billing company in Dayton, Ohio.
Dick has had direct involvement in development and programming
of several software packages in the past and brings almost 30
years of experience in public safety to his job at Alert Tracking
Systems.
